What Is Acupuncture?
The practice of acupuncture originated in China thousands of years ago. This ancient style of medicine is now well respected in modern-day medical fields, since patients of all ages are naturally reaching better levels of health.
Acupuncture aims to treat the roots/causes of symptoms. It treats the entire body as a whole, rather than chasing and treating individual symptoms separately.
Acupuncture activates the body's natural, self-healing abilities to reach better health and strengthens the body to prevent future health issues. Our bodies are resilient and often just need a little help to regain health, instead of bombarding it with outside influences.
Instead of going to many different specialists for each of your symptoms, you can be treated at one place, and everything can be targeted!
You can feel improvements even after a single acupuncture treatment. However, it has a cumulative effect on the body, as each treatment gets stronger and builds off of the one before it.
Health is when the body is in balance.
When symptoms occur, the body needs to regain that balance and equilibrium. Acupuncture targets the imbalance and guides and retrains the body to regain its natural flow, free of pain and illness. People can have similar symptoms, but since all of our bodies are different, the cause of each person's symptoms can differ. Each patient receives a personalized treatment that focuses on their individual underlying cause. Discussion about each system of the body helps me form a diagnosis and treatment plan to best suit each person.
You will feel better after each treatment than you did before it!
